Hi!  I'm Brooke.  I am a part time ceramic artist, part time high school ceramics teacher, and full time mom.  For as long as I can remember, I've been fascinated by the animals, plants, water, rocks, and dirt of this amazing planet.  In fact, my love of the Earth came before my love of art, though the two are deeply connected.  The things that inspire me to create, are the amazing things I see on each rare opportunity, or every day in my own yard.  Things like an amazing sunrise, coming up over a dew covered farmers field, on my drive into work.  Or like the tiny mushroom and lichen clusters growing on the shady side of a fallen tree.  Things that make me feel small, but deeply connected to everything.  I carry my camera with me anytime I go for a walk at the nearby county parks, always looking for inspiration.
