A vase should look beautiful with or without flowers.  This one is hand built using the coil method out of a deep dark chocolate clay.  The feather decoration is inspired by one of my favorite summer things, sitting on the patio and watching (and listening) to all of the birds.  We grow lots of penstemon by the patio screen so we can watch the hummingbirds, and catnip, that when it goes to seed is devoured by the finches!
 
Every item in our ceramics collection is designed and created in our little Eaton Rapids studio.  Each season, a new collection is inspired by Michigan's natural beauty.  Each hand-crafted piece is one of a kind and made using wheel-thrown or handbuilt techniques.
